Applicants must have good to excellent understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering and be able to demonstrate the highest standards of customer service. Experience working on forklift trucks, plant and heavy duty construction plant equipment or agricultural machinery a must. Ideally you will have a related Trade Qualification & Certification in Construction Plant Fitting or Agricultural Mechanics.
This opportunity comes with:
- Highly competitive rates of pay
- Fixed weekly work hours (Mon to Thur. 8.30 – 5.30 / 8.30 – 4.30 Fridays)
- Overtime available (but not guaranteed)
- Company vehicle, mobile phone and laptop
- PPE and uniform supplied
- Ongoing and modern training
- Minimum 20 days annual leave (1 additional day for every 4 years of service up to max of 3 days)
Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Attending customer sites to evaluate and repair reported forklift faults
- Carry out routine preventative maintenance
- Adhere to site H&S requirements and at all times maintaining Henley Groups associated interest
- Effective and regular communication with relevant service department / managers
- Adherence to all paperwork requirements meeting the deadlines set.
